December 5 to 10, 2016
Week one of training.
It took 4 pictures to get all of the Senior couples in the picture.
Here we are in the group picture. We are right in the center (wonder how that worked out).
Elder and Sister Gray 3rd from the left.
Elder and Sister Hall 5th from the right.
Elder and Sister Weston 4th from the left.
The couples we have identified are the couples we were in class with when we divided into small groups.
Here at the World map pointing to where we will be serving our mission (Ghana, Africa).
With our morning instructor, Sister Richins.
With our afternoon instructor, Sister Luke.
On Saturday, Dec. 10 we had the opportunity to go to the Provo, Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the Temple sacred ordinances are performed for the living and the dead. These sacred ordinances are the same as were performed in ancient times.
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
1 Corinthians 15:29
We are serving our Mission in the Africa West Area. With an assignment in Family History. We will be working with the local Leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the following countries: Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cote D'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria.
