Pictures from January 2017

We see this Mosque on our drive to the office.

I think they wanted their own personal parking space.

The next three pictures are the lobby of the African Regent Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
We had a meeting here with an Area Seventy (local leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).  This Area Seventy is from Nigeria, he works for Exxon and stays at the African Regent Hotel while in Accra.

This was in Tema, Ghana.  We go to the Missionary Training Center in Tema and help the young missionaries with there family history.  Many of these young people have lost one or both parents, have been kicked out of where they were staying when the joined the Church, or kicked out when they decided to serve as missionaries.

We see these activities from our office window.  This was a funeral.  The man with the stick was on the catering staff and is grinding the "flour" to make fo-fo.

Family history training for Stake and Ward leaders and Family History Consultants in the Ghana Accra Coordinating Council.

The participants in the training.  Good looking group except for those two standing at the end in the right of the picture.

Richard Paapa Dadzie, Gilbert Brown and Rebecca Brown, Sister and Elder Moore.  ? and ? Brown are Tempe and Family History Consultants and conducted the training.

Elder and Sister Moore more with Elder Paulson.  Elder Paulson is a friend of Sister Moore's cousin Jim Taylor.

Elder Paulson with his companion.  The companion is from one of the Polynesian Islands

Small Mosque we see on our way to the office.

These bulls are tied beside the road we travel everyday and fed in a trough.

Our 1st rain storm in Africa.  The water is cascading down the steps that go to the upstairs apartments.
